Lisa Ray, a model turned actress, was born in Canada on 4th April to a Polish mother and a Bengali father. She modelled in Bombay Dyeing, Lakme, Sprite, Matiz and Monte Carlo campaign. She did Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's Afreen Afreen music video. he host ed BPL OYE.
